Helping students demonstrate learning outside the classroom |
WEBINAR | DECEMBER 2, 2015 | 2PM ET |
|
|
Students
learn in lots of different ways. Unfortunately, many of them don't show
up on an academic transcript. Things like volunteer work, participation
in student organizations, or travel abroad come to mind.
That's why the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) developed the
Student Transformative Learning Record (STLR). It's a
new way to track learning activities that happen outside the classroom.
Now, students can share them with graduate schools or even potential
employers.
Join the UCO team for a live webinar on December 2 to walk through their approach:
- Learn about the types of experiential learning that are being tracked at UCO
- See the impact they’ve made on outcomes for students and the institution
- Find out how they used Brightspace to create their new learning tool (STLR)
Register for webinar
If
you won't be able to attend live, you can also register to receive a recording of the session.
