The leadership of The Ohio State University identified a need for an enterprise-wide learning management solution (LMS) to deliver, track, manage and report on non-academic learning opportunities such as compliance, professional development and other training.

This led to the creation of BuckeyeLearn, a shared online learning platform serving faculty, staff, student employees, contractors and volunteers. As a result, OSU has been able to track and report on the progress of compliance and professional development training, better plan for future training, and more effectively meet business needs across the institution.

Attend this web seminar to learn more about the advantages of implementing an enterprise LMS for professional learning, how OSU designed BuckeyeLearn, and some key strategies for taking this approach at any institution.

Topics will include:
  • The advantages of utilizing an LMS for managing professional learning opportunities
  • The strategies and goals behind the development of OSU’s BuckeyeLearn platform
  • Keys to effective implementation of an LMS for professional learning
