Students today don’t respond to the traditional methods of communication from their college or university like they once did. While websites and email are appropriate for housing and delivering certain types of information, institutions need to develop a campus-wide mobile presence in order to reach students effectively and in the format they prefer.
Attend this web seminar to learn strategies for developing a campus-wide mobile presence at any institution. Our presenters will include an expert in higher ed mobile strategy, as well as the associate director of New Student and Family Programs at the University of Florida. They will discuss the development of the university’s mobile app, GatorWay, which provides UF students and families with comprehensive schedules, maps, social networking and other resources that improve communication and foster deeper community engagement.
