Colleges and universities are facing a wide variety of business and finance challenges, but many are finding creative solutions. To explore these issues, University Business and Oracle partnered to develop and deploy a recent survey of higher ed business and finance leaders about some of the challenges they face, including rising costs, lack of access to strategic data and changing student expectations.
Attend this web seminar to participate in a discussion about this new research, and how institutions are addressing these challenges by pursuing new sources of revenue, changing business processes and utilizing cloud solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Our speakers will include the vice president for information technology and CIO from Boise State University and the director of higher education at Oracle, who will discuss the findings of the survey and how strategic use of technology can help to address many of the most significant business and financial challenges facing higher ed.
Topics will include:
- The most significant challenges facing institutions
- What new sources of revenue many higher ed leaders are pursuing
- How siloed systems can prevent access to critical strategic data
- How cloud solutions are helping to improve business and financial processes
Speakers:
Max Davis-Johnson, Associate Vice President for IT; CIO, Boise State University
