Cloud-based software sends voice, text and email alerts to students and staff Onsolve

Boston University officials first selected OnSolve’s Send Word Now to alert upper-level management about security incidents. After the tragedy at Virginia Tech, BU expanded Send World Now’s role to notify all staff and students via voice, text and email across its three campuses.

The university now uses this cloud-based software for situations that could affect the community—including the Boston Marathon bombing and manhunt that followed.
