It's still about academic success and graduation rates, but also may involve helping students immerse themselves in campus life, manage their finances, attain life skills, pursue first jobs, and launch fulfilling careers. This year, University Business launched the Models of Excellence program to honor colleges and universities with innovative and collaborative student success initiatives. How do I participate? First, tell your colleagues about the event—the more, the merrier! Then, on April 24 at 2 p.m. EST, simply log on to Twitter and search for the hashtag #UBsuccess. We suggest using the application TweetDeck or HootSuite, but going right to Twitter.com works, too. The host will pose questions and you are invited to both respond and follow along as others respond. Be sure to type #UBsuccess into all of your posts.
