UBTech 2015 will explore how the creative use of technology on campus is generating new success stories, and overcoming today’s toughest campus challenges.  The UBTech program features multiple formats: strategic presentations, roundtable-style discussions, and interactive workshops in the following areas:
  • Instructional Technology: content, course delivery, apps, online/remote instruction, MOOCs, flipped classrooms
  • Campus IT: networks, security, enterprise, virtualization, storage, data management, cloud computing
  • Facilities & Infrastructure: space planning and design, sustainability, energy management, accessibility
  • AV Integration: collaborative learning spaces, maintenance and support, training, system adoptions
  • Policy & Practice: intellectual property, social media, technology usage, campus communication, change management, professional development

In this innovative new track, we will feature sessions about institutional and student success in the following areas:
  • Executive Leadership: growth strategies; new ventures; organizational structure; partnerships; advancement
  • Student Experience: recruitment; retention; academic outcomes; financial and career counseling
  • Business Enterprise: financial affairs; tuition strategies; marketing and branding; operational streamlining
The deadline for submitting a presentation proposal is Dec. 19. Speaker notifications will be made in late January.
