Everything we know about higher education is being changed by technology.
This is good news. Or is it? On May 2, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard University announced edX, a joint partnership between the two institutions "to offer online learning to millions of people around the world."
EdX will offer Harvard and MIT classes online for free, hoping that more colleges and universities will join this open source platform.
