Hello UBTech 2018 speakers. Our event is underway, and we are thrilled with our program. Before I get to some quick reminders, a note of welcome to Melissa Nicefaro, UBTech’s new assistant program director. If you have any questions about your presentation or the conference, please send them to Melissa at mnicefaro@promediagrp.com.

Also, please note that this and future speaker updates will go only to the primary speaker from the presentation submission. If you have a co-presenter, please forward these updates to them.

And now for those reminders:

1. Check your session listing and bio on our site. Go to www.ubtechconference.com/program and then scroll or use your browser’s search function (generally Command-F) to find your session by keyword or last name. Once you get to your session page, you can check your bio by clicking on your name. If you see anything that needs to be changed, send an email to mnicefaro@promediagrp.com. (Note: session times won’t be set for several weeks.)
   
   
2. If we don’t have your photo, or a photo for a co-presenter, please send it to mnicefaro@promediagrp.com. We have found that showing a photo of a speaker with their bio and session helps increase session attendance, so please do provide us with those headshots.
   
   
3. If you haven’t done so already, register for UBTech 2018. Go to www.ubtechconference.com and click the “Register” link. Be sure to select “Speaker” as your registration type to ensure free registration.
   
   
4. Promote UBTech 2018 and your session to your campus colleagues, friends at other institutions and through your social networks. And if you want to do them a solid, give them this registration promo code: Speakervip50—which will save them $50 off their conference fee.

And speaking of promotion: please help us with our Speaker Videos Initiative. If you make a short video of yourself describing your session, we’ll post it on your session page and promote it in our emails and social media outlets. It’s a great way to help us promote UBTech and your role in the program. Send us your video with this form.

You’ll be hearing from us periodically with conference updates, presentation tips and logistical information. Of course, if you have any questions, or if you’d like to discuss your plans for your session, don’t hesitate to contact us.
