As a professional in higher education, I find it a privilege to share what I have learned and hope you had the chance to attend the presentation I gave at UBTech last June entitled, “How to Use Digital Signage for Increased Effectiveness in Higher Education.”
My education about digital signage (DS) was a baptism by fire, which began immediately after the president of our university asked me to create a digital signage network for our institution. You may be in the same position, or having made that leap already, want to know more about how to make that investment work harder and smarter for you.
That’s why I joined the Digital Signage Federation, (DSF) the only independent and wholly agnostic trade organization serving the DS industry. Annual dues are only $250, for which an institution can enroll up to five individuals entitled to a long list of benefits. (See video or “value of membership” at: digitalsignagefederation.com/Join).
But, I believe that becoming knowledgeable about digital signage is an important investment in your institution’s future. Not only does membership in the DSF provide educational opportunities, but because the DSF’s organizational mission is to support and promote the common business interests of world-wide digital signage, interactive technologies and the digital out-of-home network industries, from its inception, the DSF has been committed to education - in fact, in 2012 the DSF established the first of its kind national educational standards for the DS industry.
Educational opportunities available to DSF Members include:
Education on Demand – free seminars & webinars
Digital Signage Professional Certification Discounts
I hope you will consider joining the DSF and I look forward to seeing you at UBTech 2014, June 16-18, when I will be presenting “Challenges Facing a Digital Signage Network in Higher Education.” You can register for UBTech at www.ubtechconference.com and get the Early Bird registration rate of only $450. Registration is now open.
Thank you for your consideration.
