Online learners have distinct perspectives compared to their traditional student counterparts. In particular, the pandemic has had a significant impact on student perceptions, preferences, and experiences of online learning. To explore this impact and other trends in online learning, this report analyzes responses from a survey in early 2021 of more than 3,000 past, present, and prospective online college students, one of the largest studies of its kind.
