Thanks
to a special initiative enabled by Tegrity, Lawson State Community
College has seen its freshman pass rates increase to 80% and freshman
retention rates jump by 10% in a year's time. Academic departments such
as Nursing have experienced similar outcomes.
Class attendance at Lawson State was suffering partly due to the fact that 60% of its students hold full-time or part-time jobs. However, within a few years of deploying lecture capture through a campus-wide initiative dubbed the "Tegrity Project", nearly 60% of academic courses were using lecture capture, enabling students to easily review what they would have otherwise missed in class.
See How:
- Lawson State increased pass rates and retention for the freshman class
- The Tegrity Project impacts health and science disciplines, such as Nursing
- Curriculum can be streamlined using lecture capture
- Institutions can take advantage of Tegrity's potential beyond lecture capture
The webinar features Dr. Sherri Cousin Davis, Academic Dean & Director of Developmental Program and Dr. Charmaine Smith Rodgers, Instructor of Nursing, both from Lawson State Community College in Alabama.
