Have you seen the new Blackboard? We’ve created a new way for teaching and learning to happen that puts learners at the center. Our strategic design overhaul of all of our products represents a complete product rethinking.

Our Learn redesign started with qualitative research to better empathize with students and instructors. We worked to translate what we learned into a value promise and a series of experiential design pillars, and each of these drove our development of the new Learn with Ultra experience.

How is it different?

• Learner-Centric Approach: What do students need to do in Blackboard? What do they need to know? What is important for their success? We asked students and educators these questions and their answers are our focus.
• Intuitive Design:  Simply put, our design is intuitive and easy to use, drawing educators and students together for fewer headaches and less training. We’ve put the focus on inspiring more teaching and learning.
• Any Device Access: Our responsive design ensures that students and educators enjoy a great experience across devices and screen sizes, maintaining access to all Blackboard functionality, all the time.
