Budgeting, Reporting and Planning Have Room for Improvement

Axiom Software recently conducted a performance management survey, highlighting some of the biggest issues facing higher education institutions today. Some interesting statistics from the survey include:

• Only 17% are satisfied with management reporting at their institution
• 70% of participants agree that providing more insightful reporting to support decision making is their top initiative
• 93% of respondents said their universities have a long range plan, but only 39% said the plan includes data from the balance sheet
